Izzy is all about the kai. She knows the food in the house will last a while and there's lots to eat without cooking if there’s no power - she’s made sure there’s something for Stan too.
Mika is ready to gather everyone together. She’s talked to her whānau about a good meeting place, so that if an emergency event happens, she’ll know where to go to be safe.
Paul has packed his emergency gear. He knows it will be ready to go if he has to leave home in a hurry. He remembered to put a pair of strong shoes near the bag, in case he has to walk a long way.
Ashley has a torch, and spare batteries, perfect for finding the emergency gear if it’s dark. She keeps one in most of the rooms, so that all the people in her family can find each other.
Carter has been collecting plastic bottles and cleaning them up so that he can store water in them, just in case. He’s been doing the maths too - 3 litres of water, per person per day…
Tamati looks like he can’t let go of his sounds, but actually he knows he will need a battery powered radio to know what is going on. It plays some pretty awesome sounds though.
Sheng knows the importance of being prepared. He hasn’t forgotten to check his home for objects that could fall and badly injure someone in an emergency event. Now he’s off for supplies to make his home safer. Sheng has a catchphrase - ”Fix. Fasten. Don’t Forget.”
